Based in Chicago, Illinois, the Terra Foundation for American Art supports American art exhibitions, projects, academic research, and publications worldwide. In 2022, we designed and developed the pages announcing the new mission/vision/values and the forthcoming Foundation Report. We provided support that increased the stability and security of the Foundation’s WordPress-based website. Additionally, we collaborated with the Center for Digital Experiences at Pratt Institute on a website usability report.
The Andy Warhol Museum is North America’s largest single-artist museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Continuing our years-long relationship, in 2021/22, we provided ongoing web development and support. We updated the navigation and upgraded the search of the Museum’s WordPress-based website. Additionally, we collaborated with the Center for Digital Experiences at Pratt Institute on a website visitation analysis.
The Museum Computer Network (MCN) is a US-based non-profit organization for professionals with an interest in the use of computer technology for museums. In 2022 we performed qualitative consumer sentiment analysis research for the association of museum technology professionals, Museum Computer Network (MCN). We employed focus groups and individual interviews to produce a report that informed the MCN board’s deliberations on strategic direction.

Spellerberg Projects in print! We are mentioned in the December 2022 of Harper’s in relation to a piece by Raul Rene Gonzalez, whose show opens in February.
Kim Bishop is a nationally exhibited artist working from her San Antonio, Texas, based studio for the past 20 years. In her December exhibition, “In a Dark Room,” Bishop’s imagery focuses on the entanglement of body, time, and movement. She uses this imagery to create a holistic self-portrait that embodies universal themes.
Andrei Renteria eearned his BFA from Sul Ross State University in 2010 and his MFA at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015. His November exhibition, “2666,” incorporated mixed-media including drawing, painting, sculpture, and assemblage. The show expressed the experimental approach to material and research with which he investigates the U.S.-Mexico frontera.
Sara Corley Martinez was born in Frederick, Maryland, and received her MFA from the University of Cincinnati in 2011. Her October exhibition, “Drawing Restraints,” comprised a series of photographs and mixed-media sculptures. These pieces combine performance with the obstacles of motherhood, being an artist, and being an aging woman.
Spellerberg Projects is excited to announce a 6-month partnership with Clamp Light Studios & Gallery Director and resident artist Raul Rene Gonzalez. Beginning October 2022 and continuing through March 2023, Gonzalez will organize and curate solo exhibitions featuring San Antonio artists: Sara Corley Martinez, Andrei Renteria, Kim Bishop, Donovan Martinez, Barbara Felix, and Gonzalez. Each artist will exhibit recent and new works, responding to the space’s storefront gallery setting.
