Life Drawing

December 1st, 2009

Since being introduced to life drawing in school, my practice has waxed and waned. In recent seasons I have developed a routine of attending weekly drop-in sessions, mostly at OCAD.

I typically use conté on newsprint.

Multiple

November 1st, 2009

MULTIPLE or the Man Who Figured Out How to Do Many Things at Once is an in-progress comic story about a man with a sort of super power.

The drawings are done straight with pen (no pencils), and I try to do four a week. For now I’m posting them on Flickr and have created a simple ‘zine. When I have a stock of drawings built up I’ll look for other applications.

Organ Sparks

Organ Sparks is a collaboration with organist Michael Capon. He provides the sounds and I provide the visuals.

We performed first at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church in 2006, and then at Glenview Presbyterian Church in 2009. The videos shown here are from the 2009 concert.
